We thought this was a short stop.

When we first arrived at the MidFlorida Event Center, Port St. Lucie was scheduled as a limited-time visit. A quick stop, then on to the next city.

But something unexpected happened.

Families showed up. Friends tagged each other. Playdates were made. Our inbox filled with messages asking when we’d be back. And then, because Florida weather keeps us humble, the winds chose violence on our final day, cutting things short and crushing a few little duckling dreams (and, understandably, some parent ones too). We see you. We’re sorry. And we heard you.

So… we’re back.

Because of the response from the community, the MidFlorida Event Center has welcomed us back for one more round:

This isn’t an extension, it’s a return visit. A comeback tour. A second window for families who missed us the first time or wanted to come back again.

A winter survival plan for parents on the Treasure Coast

Winter here doesn’t mean snow days or canceled school. It means earlier sunsets, restless kids, and that familiar afternoon question:

“What are we doing after school?”

That’s where The Royal Duck comes in.

When backpacks hit the floor and energy levels somehow spike, The Royal Duck becomes the perfect after-school outlet. Our giant inflatable bounce park is designed for kids to run, jump, climb, laugh, and just be kids, while you get to exhale for a minute.

No planning a full weekend outing.

No screens.

No “just five more minutes” negotiations.

Just real movement, real joy and very tired kids by the end of the day (you’re welcome).

The Royal Duck isn’t about waiting for a special occasion. It’s something to look forward to mid-week. Something that breaks up the routine. Sometimes, all you need is a really big bounce park.

Memory-making > perfect parenting

The Royal Duck isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about the moments that stick:

The first big jump that turns into unstoppable laughter
Siblings teaming up (for once)
Parents saying, “Okay fine, I’ll try it,” and secretly having the best time

These are the memories kids talk about later. Not the clean house. Not the perfectly packed lunches. The fun. The freedom. The laughter.

And yes, parents play too. We highly encourage it.

Why we don’t stay forever

We design our events to feel special, not permanent. Each city gets a moment, not an indefinite run.

That’s why this return is intentional and limited. Once February 8 passes, we pack up and head to our next stop.
